Young Music Industry Execs Rising Star Center of Radio Station Online Promotion
BALTIMORE, MD (June 19, 2006) Cari Gelber, 26 year-old author of recently released teen fiction novel, Rising Star (http://www.risingstarthebook.com), and music industry entrepreneur today announced a partnership with Daisy Rock Guitars and Clear Channels Online Music & Radio division to promote the release of her debut narrative.
The partnership will take the form of an online promotion that will launch on June 16, 2006 and appear on the websites of pop, rock, and teen-orientated radio stations in the Clear Channel network. Clear Channel Online Music division is comprised of 1100 websites. Daisy Rock Guitars, (http://www.daisyrock.com/) the California-based girl-guitar company known for their pro-quality guitars for females, supplied prizing including the newest addition to their guitar fleet, the Star Artist guitar. Other prizes include guitar straps, picks, and Girls Guitar Method books. Gelber supplied autographed copies of Rising Star.

Gelbers novel Rising Star is based loosely on her own experiences as a rock band manager and promoter, and geared toward the teen market. Being a young woman in a male-dominated industry, Gelber felt she had a story to tell about the scenarios she has encountered. Rising Star is a brisk, entertaining and informative book that Gelber hopes will inspire other young women.
